The Dandenong Ranges rise to 633 metres above sea level just east of Melbourne, creating a microclimate of mist, lush rainforest, and cool mountain air. The light here is unlike anywhere else in Victoria — filtered through a canopy of mountain ash and tree ferns, soft and diffused in a way that makes every portrait look cinematic.
